What have you observed about our Easter Holiday?
This is my second year in the states and yet, I dont see any different between the Easter in US and the one in Hong Kong. Both of them were full of Easter bunny and chocolate. Easter is the day to celebrate Jesus rebirth brom death, since the majority of people in Hong Kong are also Christian, there shouldnt be a big difference from here. The only thing that I would do here but not in Hong Kong, would be the Easter Egg hunting. Grown-ups like to put chocolate or money in the "Easter Eggs" amd hide them around the house. Kids would be busy all day and tried to find out where they were. It was fun, but other than that, Easter was just....Easter.

I agree, here was Easter just "Easter", I noticed nothing special beside some chocolate eggs and cakes.
ReplyDeleteSo in Hong Kong you don't have Easter Egg hunts? Do you decorate eggs?
