Costume

Have you ever dressed up in costume? Write a paragraph telling why, and describe what you wore. Did you wear makeup or a mask? Could your friends recognize you, or were you disguised?

I was never in any drama or acts, so I didnt get lots of chances to wear costume or makeup. Last year in Halloween was the first time I tried a taste of this. I dressed up as Super Mario while my little brother was Dracula. We did trick or treat together and that was a new experience for me. We do have Halloween in Hong Kong but it was never a big thing like it is in America.

What have you observed about our Easter Holiday?

This is my second year in the states and yet, I dont see any different between the Easter in US and the one in Hong Kong. Both of them were full of Easter bunny and chocolate. Easter is the day to celebrate Jesus rebirth brom death, since the majority of people in Hong Kong are also Christian, there shouldnt be a big difference from here. The only thing that I would do here but not in Hong Kong, would be the Easter Egg hunting. Grown-ups like to put chocolate or money in the "Easter Eggs" amd hide them around the house. Kids would be busy all day and tried to find out where they were. It was fun, but other than that, Easter was just....Easter.

Do you believe in some sort of life after death? If so, describe it.

People have been wondered why form of life after death would be for thousands of years. To me, the idea of heaven and hell makes the most sense. Even though I am not religious, I can still foresee once you are dead, your invisible soul would go to either of these places according to what you did in your past life.

Heaven, a wonderful place where there is no segregation and prejudice. Everything is calm and peaceful. Of course, all the laws would be abolished because everyone is not sinful. It is a place where only beautiful things would happen.

On the other hand, hell is a place full of despair. Your soul would be tortured days after days in order to pay back the sin you made. It is a place where poverty of love.
